Guided Bike Tours

Riders experience the beauty of the area, acquire history, and enjoy amazing views on our guided bike tours offered daily in Philadelphia, PA and Coronado Island, CA. (Chicago, IL and more cities coming soon). Riders explore, and discover the spectacular insights of each city. Historic information and entertaining narrative is given through an audio amplification system worn by our certified tour guides. Routes are an easy to moderate ride that most all rider levels can enjoy. Before heading out, bikes are adjusted and seat heights modified to fit each rider ensuring a comfortable fit. Additionally, guests get caught up on the rules of the road and general safe riding information for a safe and enjoyable journey. Stops along the tour allow for riders to soak in the atmosphere and take pictures.

Self-Guided Bike Tours

Guests cover more ground than they would on foot and see more than they would out of a bus window. Self Guided bike tours are offered nationwide at more than 40+ locations. Riders explore beaches, parks, lagoons, and gorgeous trails. Our tours offer a diverse mix of nature and attractions.

What’s Included

Self guided tours include choice of bicycle, route map, points of interest/history sheet, helmet & lock, tour bag and/or bike basket to hold belongings.


The tours are completed at the guests own pace, on mostly flat bike paths and trails, with limited street riding.


The tour routes are designed with safety in mind and avoid automobile traffic when possible. Each tour begins with a safety and bike usage orientation.

Great for all ages

Freetime Self-Guided bike tours can accommodate all different sizes and ages with our huge selection of bikes, including kids attachments like trailers, and trailer tandems called tag-a-longs. Most all of our tours are family-friendly, with just the right amount of riding, extra time built in to explore the sites on foot, and even lunch.
